These new team members, previously employed by a private group, will continue caring for patients in the DHLN emergency department. Duke Health acquired Lake Norman Regional Medical Center on April 1, 2025.
As Duke Health expands, the Department of Emergency Medicine is focused on providing high-quality services to the communities we serve across the state. Our partnership with DHLN enables us to increase access to Duke emergency care, ensure a consistent experience for patients, and foster bi-directional learning to improve patient care in emergency departments throughout the health system.
