Dr. Leiman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine, where she serves as Director of Undergraduate Medical Education and Medical Director of the Physician Assistant Residency Program. She also contributes to undergraduate academic initiatives as Assistant Director of the Duke Interprofessional Education and Care Center, with a strong focus on advancing interprofessional education and collaborative care models. Dr. Leiman’s dedication to teaching and team-based care has been recognized with the Faculty Teacher of the Year Award and the Interprofessional Education Excellence Award for her work in the Duke Interprofessional Education Clinic.
