Close to home/friends, level 1 trauma center, large patient population, good work/life balance, exposure to different clinical practice environments (academic, community, pediatric, etc)
What are the strengths of the Duke program?
Unique rotation at Durham VA ED, high volume with rare/complex pathologies, level 1 trauma center with great trauma training, location, strong commitment to patient advocacy, GME/program benefits
What advice do you have for incoming interns?
Location, work/life balance, benefits, and cost of living are important things to consider when choosing a residency program
What do you like best about living in Durham and the Triangle?
Great cost of living, lots of things to do, close to home/friends
What do you like to do outside of Duke?
Running/working out, writing, cosplay
