What were you looking for in a residency program?

Welcoming and diverse co-residents, supportive faculty. A good mix of academic opportunities and community exposure.

What are the strengths of the Duke program?

Amazing faculty members, PD, and program coordinator that really care about the residents. Big amount of educational and research resources. Good balance of guided learning and independence to practice.

What advice do you have for incoming interns?

It's not about your knowledge, but about your potential! It is okay (and appropriate) to doubt. Be very open to feedback and enthusiastic to learn.

What do you like best about living in Durham and the Triangle?

There are amazing food and a growing music scene. Also very kind people. The diversity that the university brings is a great plus for me.

What do you like to do outside of Duke?

I am a sports lover, I like playing soccer and tennis and watching almost everything. I enjoy traveling, learning about new cultures, exploring new places, hiking, cooking, and eating new food.
