Post-Doctoral Associate
Kiana Bess, PhD, MPH, is a post-doctoral associate with the Division of Translational Health Sciences. Her research focuses on advancing health equity in children and adolescents. Specifically, she is interested in how neighborhood environments and housing insecurities influence child and adolescent health outcomes. Methodologically, Dr. Bess is interested in using community-engaged, mixed-methods, and GIS approaches to critically examine the pathways in which these social determinants of health influence health outcomes.
