The Duke Department of Emergency Medicine’s Division of Translational Health Sciences is an interdisciplinary group within the department that integrates rigorous research methods in translating scientific discoveries into knowledge and innovation.
Our division is led by PhD researchers working in a variety of methodological areas applied to acute care research. Our researchers develop independent research in collaboration with the clinical faculty within the department.

Mission
To translate scientific discovery into innovation toward equitable access to quality and timely evidence-based to preventive or acute care through interdisciplinary collaborations and cross-cutting rigorous research methods.
