Emergency Medicine Operations Research
Considering the recent shifts in the U.S. healthcare landscape, our focus in the Operations domain of the Emergency Department has never been more critical. Adapting to these changes, we collaborate with EM Clinical Operations researchers to transform care using advanced analytics, data and technology. Our goal is to harness the potential of artificial intelligence and drawing insights from historical data to innovate on key EM clinical operation processes. For instance, we aim to enhance triage effectiveness, reduce patient waiting times, and optimize staff allocation. By leveraging these technologies and insights against the backdrop of a rapidly evolving healthcare system, our ambition is to redefine the operational standards of emergency care. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that every patient, amidst these changes, benefits from a swift, efficient, and top-tier care experience, thus improving their pathways to recovery.
